The visual language is diverse and includes a vibrant palette exquisite strokes strong texture and dynamic energy. The works are inspired by the flight of pigeons as symbolic of peace and their interaction with their human neighbors. there is softness and simplicity which is his unique language.

Kanchan Chander
Kanchan Chander is a well known artist based in Delhi.
A Recipient of Lalit Kala Academy and Ministry of Human Resource Development fellowships in India, a French Government scholarship for study at the École des Beaux-Arts in Paris, Kanchan has taught for two decades at College of Art, Delhi before turning to freelance. Shifting her focus from tribal imagery of the Shakti cult, she has worked in collage and brightly painted female torsos. More recently, her work has featured female legends, mainly Frida Kahlo and the stars of Hollywood and Bollywood, while continuing to portray aspects of fertility, the erotic and the sensuousness of female form, bedecked with sequins, silver leaf and beads etc.

Shobha Broota
Born in 1943 in New Delhi, Shobha completed her Diploma in Fine Arts (Painting) from College of Art, New Delhi in 1964 and her Sangeet Visharad at New Delhi in 1962. She has held over 14 solo shows of her works at 10 at New Delhi during 1982 to 2005; one each in Perth in 1997; Mumbai and Varanasi in 1994; London in 1992; Chandigarh in 1985. She has participated in several group shows across India and abroad including Singapore, Chicago, Sydney, London, Hungary, Poland, Italy, as well as 6th Triennial at India ; Asian European Art Biennale at Turkey. She has received the AIFACS, New Delhi in 1982; Sahitya Kala Parishad, New Delhi in 1986; Scholarship by Ministry of Culture in 1982-85 among others. She lives and works in New Delhi.
Vasudha Thozhur
He was born in 1956 in Mysore. She studied at the College of Arts and Crafts, Madras, and at the School of Art and Design in Croydon, UK.
She lived and worked in Chennai between 1981 – 1997 and in Baroda between 1997 – 2013.Besides participation in exhibitions/workshops in the country and abroad, institutional work has involved lectures/teaching/juries at MS University, Baroda, NID, Ahmedabad and IICD Jaipur.
Two grants from the India Foundation for the Arts, Bangalore, between 2002 – 2006 and 2009 – 2011, supported a research project ‘The Himmat Workshops’. The project looked at ways of rooting art practice in ground and other realities as experienced in the country, with particular reference to conflict zones. It involved collaborating with Himmat, an activist organization based in Vatva, Ahmedabad, between 2002 – 2007.
Among grants received earlier are the French Government Scholarship to work at the Cite des Arts, Paris and the Charles Wallace Grant to work at Gasworks, London.
She is currently Associate Professor in the Department of Art, Design and Performing Arts at Shiv Nadar University, Dadri.
